Saint Christopher, you carried across the river a child who grew heavier at every step, until you were carrying the weight of the whole world, and found out afterwards who He was. Grant me a safe journey today — for me, for those travelling with me, and for those coming towards me on the same road. And when what I carry becomes heavier than I expected, remind me whose weight it is. Amen.
