To you, O blessed Joseph, we come in our tribulation, and having implored the help of your most holy spouse, we confidently ask your patronage also. By that charity which bound you to the immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by the fatherly love with which you embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg you to look graciously upon the inheritance which Jesus Christ purchased by His blood, and to help us in our need by your power and strength. Most watchful guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ; keep from us every stain of error and corruption; be our advocate, that we may live and die in holiness. Amen.
