Prayer to St Anthony

Si quæris miracula

If you ask for miracles, death, error, calamity, the demon and leprosy flee, and the sick rise up healed. The sea obeys, and the chains fall; the young and the old ask, and what was lost is found again. Dangers vanish, need retreats; let those who know it speak — let the people of Padua say it. Saint Anthony, finder of what is lost, find for me what I have lost — and find for me the things I did not know I had lost. Amen.
