Saint Expeditus, martyr, you are pictured crushing a crow that croaks *cras* — tomorrow — while you hold a cross that says *hodie*: today. My matter is urgent, and I am tired of waiting, but what I ask first is this: kill the *tomorrow* in me. Obtain for me from God a swift resolution of my need, and the grace to do today what I have been postponing for years. Amen.
