Prayer for children

Father, these children are yours before they are mine. Guard their bodies from harm, their minds from what would poison them, their hearts from bitterness, and their souls from ever believing they are unloved. Give their guardian angels a free hand. Where I have failed them, repair it; where I have wounded them, heal it; and what I cannot give them, give them yourself. And if they wander far, be the road they walk on. Amen.
