Lord, you worked with your hands for thirty years and nobody wrote down a single thing you made. Give me work, and let it be honest. If I am looking for it, open the door; if I have it, let me do it well; if I hate it, show me who it serves. Keep me from stealing, from lying to those who pay me, and from measuring my worth by what I earn. Saint Joseph, worker, pray for me; and let this day's labour be worth something in eternity. Amen.
