Saint Gabriel, archangel, you were sent to speak the one sentence on which the whole world turned, and you waited in silence for a girl to answer. Give me your reverence for the word of God, your courage to carry a message that will not be believed, and your patience with the freedom of others. Strength of God, obtain for me the grace to hear what is being asked of me, and to say what Mary said. Amen.
