Prayer to St Michael the Archangel
Sancte Michael Archangele
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Sancte Míchaël Archángele, defénde nos in prǽlio; contra nequítiam et insídias diáboli esto præsídium. Ímperet illi Deus, súpplices deprecámur: tuque, Prínceps milítiæ cæléstis, Sátanam aliósque spíritus malígnos, qui ad perditiónem animárum pervagántur in mundo, divína virtúte in inférnum detrúde. Amen.
When this prayer is prayed
At the end of Mass in many parishes, before spiritual combat of any kind, and over a house or a family under attack. Composed by Leo XIII in 1886 after a vision, and prayed at the end of every Mass in the world from 1886 to 1964.
