Ave Maria
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Ave María, grátia plena, Dóminus tecum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta María, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostræ. Amen.
When this prayer is prayed
Fifty-three times in the Rosary, three times at the Angelus, and countless times in an ordinary life. The first half is Scripture — Gabriel's greeting and Elizabeth's cry (Lk 1:28, 42); the second half is the Church asking for the only two moments that matter: now, and the last one.
